Strong Protest Against Indian Reactionary Government's Intensified Efforts to Create "Two Chinas"

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a note to the Indian Embassy in China on November 12, strongly protesting against the Indian reactionary government's crime in intensifying its efforts to create "two Chinas" and rabidly opposing China under the direction of U.S. imperialism and Soviet revisionism.
The note pointed out: Not long ago, the Indian Government flagrantly permitted the Chiang Kai-shek bandit gang to send a "delegation" headed by Tao Yung to attend the celebrations of Gandhi's centenary in India and, what is more, Indian officials received this "delegation" of the Chiang gang and gave a dinner party for it. On September 30, Chen Chao-yuan, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in India, lodged a stern protest with the Indian Government against its act of tailing after U.S. imperialism in openly creating "two Chinas." However, instead of immediately stopping such hostile act against the Chinese people, the Indian Government clung to its obdurate course and went even farther. K.K. Shah, Minister of Information and Broadcasting of the Indian Government, met the "delegation" of the Chiang gang on October 3 and accepted gifts from it. On October 10, the Chiang gang elements gave a reception in Delhi, and the Mayor of Delhi, M.P.s of the Congress Party and others attended the reception as an expression of support for them, during which the Indian national anthem and the Chiang gang's song were played. Furthermore, the Indian Government allowed the Chiang gang element Tao Yung openly to deliver an address in Delhi in which he viciously attacked China's great cultural revolution.
The note said: This is another grave incident engineered by the Indian reactionary government in its intensified efforts to create "two Chinas" and rabidly oppose China under the direction of U.S. imperialism and Soviet revisionism, and this is & serious provocation against the Chinese people. Against this, the Chinese Government and people express great indignation and hereby lodge a strong protest with the Indian Government
The note said in conclusion: The Chiang Kai-shek bandit gang is a political corpse long repudiated by the Chinese people. In obdurately joining the ranks of this political corpse to serve the U.S. imperialist criminal plot of creating "two Chinas" and in adamantly making itself the enemy of the Chinese people, the Indian Government will definitely come to no good end.
